The online forum of the Austrian tabloid newspaper "Kronen Zeitung" allows users to post comments below articles. Once a comment is published, users cannot delete it. Only a team of moderators can selectively remove comments.

The installation "Krone kommentiert" continuously saves copies of this forum and compares them with older snapshots in order to find comments that have been deleted. These are then printed out live using a thermal receipt printer, therefore making the moderation interventions visible.
